Starts and Ends at the Kane County Government Center (KCGC) at the intersection of IL-31 and 3rd St. in Geneva, right off the Fox River Trail at the Railway Bridge. Follows low traffic roads, paved and limestone trails through Fermilab. Tour 3 sections of DuPage Forest Preserves: Blackwell F.P., St James Farm FP, Herrick Lake F.P. and Warrenville Grove F.P. Return via Fermi Lab and portions of the Prairie Path Batavia Spur and Fox River Trail. Trail, Gravel, Cross bikes are the recommended rides. This is a moderate effort ride with few hills and great road and trail surfaces, but is best suited for cooler season riding as water options are limited.
