What is periodization?
Periodization is a progressive series of workouts with varying intensities to gradually improve an athletes performance over time. With our periodization model, we help our athletes make significant gains over the winter. Starting in January, our experienced coaches guide athletes not only build the workouts with the progressive intensities, but also work on drills and techniques to sharpen cycling skills. When spring arrives, they can hit the pavement hard on their first ride outside!

Arrive at least 20 minutes early so you can get all set up before class starts! Let your coach know this if your first go, and they will walk you through all the steps. First your coach will enter your information into a computer to make sure the workout is specific to you! Then, you coach will help you get your bike secured on a trainer and you can start warming up!
